The Appeal
While Alfa Romeo is known primarily for its four-cylinder Nord twin-cam, there was also a six-cylinder version reserved for Alfa's big grand tourers. Bertone-bodied 2600 Sprints are rare. They were exceedingly expensive when new, so sales were not especially strong, resulting in very few survivors remaining today.
Here we have a well-restored example in metallic bottle green with new red leather interior. This Sprint has undergone a meticulous restoration after being discovered in non-running condition, having been dormant since at least 2001. The current owner has personally overseen nearly every aspect of the restoration process, with only the upholstery and paintwork entrusted to professionals. The result is a vehicle that presents very well and is reportedly ready to enjoy.
