Mk1 ford zephyr 1954 4 door saloon hot rod / rat rod
the car you are bidding on was imported from australia all paperwork has ben sorted, v5 is in my name , this vehicle is taxed & mot exempt and is registered as historic vehicle on log book , as you can see from pictures the car looks very rusty in fact its quiet the opposite the body is very good it has been coated with a special coating that gives it the rust look
- body
floors , front rear and boot have had no welding in very good condition and have been painted inside and out with high gloss rubberised paint , exterior of body had a few dents here and there , on the whole very good
-brakes
it has had new brake shoes all round , new brake cylinders, new brake pipes , new master cylinder
- clutch
new clutch pipes and master cylinder and slave cylinder
- engine and gearbox
smooth gearbox, straight 6 engine with single carb
-exhaust
6 branch manifold going into 2 with twin chrome tail pipes
-windows
original glass, new rubbers fitted all round including side windows, apart from front quarter light rubbers.
-interior
new carpets and sound proof underlay fitted, new door cards, new front and rear seats, roof lining good, one small tear in rear,
-wheels and tyres
nice set of polished chrome craigars with nearly new tyres , with chrome wheel nuts , standard spare wheel in boot.
-lights
new front p700 headlights with built in side light , new front indicators, original rear lights
a lot of time and money has gone into restoring this lovely zephyr 6 it will make someone a very nice hot rod / rat rod it could also be used as a nice daily driver and is ready to take straight from the shows, if you like to be different and stand out from the crowd this is the car for you , i am in no rush to sell it, so no silly offers please , viewing recommended , these rat rods are not everybody cup of tea !!! please remember its not the body that is rusty it is a specialised coating that has been applied to the vehicle , these are a very sort after car, and a investment
