Bridging the gap between the road going DB9 and the fully equipped DBR9 built for the GT1 24 Hour Le Mans, the GT3 Class DBRS9 was Aston Martin's useable and cost-effective alternative to the very successful GT1 racer.

Commissioned by Aston Martin the DBRS9 was developed by famed British Motorsport and advanced engineering group Prodrive, who are known for constructing race cars for companies and teams such as Aston Martin, Mini and Volkswagen.

Like the DBR9, the DBRS9 inherited similar performance at a fraction of the complexity and both run an all-aluminum handcrafted 6. 0 litre naturally aspirated V12.

Featuring several modifications to a standard road car, including a full race specification roll cage, carbon fibre body panels, poly-carbonate side and rear windows, stripped interior dropping the weight by 480 kg and highly tuned version of the V12 producing 410kW and 620nM of torque. With these superhero-like enhancements bring the DBRS9's output to a unbelievable 305Kw per tonne with a claimed 0 - 100 time of just 3. 4 seconds and a top speed of 314km/ h.

Improvements to the suspension lowered the ride height using stiffened race springs, front and rear double wishbone suspension with adjustable Koni dampers as well as an Xtrac 6-Speed close-ratio racing gearbox which could've been optioned with a fully manual or sequential manual gearbox.

We are pleased to offer on the showroom floor a 2006 Aston Martin DBRS9 'Chassis No. 11' delivered new to Hong Kong, one of just 28 examples ever built which has travelled just 245 kms from new.

Believed to be one of very few cars to be optioned with a rare and special 'Track Day' Kit featuring dual Aston Martin Racing Recaro Bucket Seats, Air-Conditioning and a 6 speed manual gearbox.

Having just travelled testing mileage, this Aston hasn't seen much track time, making this possibly one of only few as-new examples left of the original 28.

Set up and ready to go, this Aston Martin is a great way into GT3 Class racing and in addition with its provenance and build numbers this racecar is highly collectible. Don't miss this opportunity to essentially own a baby Aston Martin Vulcan.
