Here we have a 1983 volkswagen passat b2 gl5 estate finished in met red
this is a 1 owner car from new. Its done 120k and has full service history.
i saved this from scrap a few years back as i love these b2 and ive had quite a few over past years.
its completely original throughout even down to the radio apart from a weber carb replacement.
it needs a full restoration the sills archs wings bottom of the doors under rear bumper etc is all rusty. Rest of the car is vgc. Headlining has sagged.
its a non runner as the dizzy is faulty. I had it running last year and it ran sweet.
i really dont want to sell this car but i cant find a local body shop who will restore it for me who dont want stupid money to do it. If i could get it done cheaper id keep it as i dont want to sell it but its been sat 2 years now and it needs to be saved. I just hope whoever rescues it will restore it.
all in all will make a nice daily classic once restored.
will need trailering away. I have keys & v5 here.
