We are very pleased to offer a real slice of the nineties in the form a Rover 114 SLi. Finished in Electric blue this example has covered just 13k in 22 years with the same elderley owner until this year. It is accompanied with its original hanbooks, service book with six stamps and both sest of keys and fobs. Its an absolute joy of an example and it really is like stepping back in time both driving and admiring it.
This Rover offers an excellent introduction to the Classic car world without spending many thousands of pounds. Its as rare as Ferrari with only just over 90 left on the roads and is in good enough condition to be shown or used as a daily driver. It has the very liveley Rover K series fuel injected engine and in 1. 4 guise has perfromance that will surprise out on the open road. It has a super smooth engine and a five speed gearbox that still feels new. It also has remote central locking and a factory fitted sunroof, sought after options at the time! The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and I would gladly drive it anywhere.
The interior is pure 1995, its a total timewarp and unmarked with immaculate seats, carpets and roof liner. All of the switch gear is in fine order and there is even a bible in the glove box. The spare wheel and jack have never been used and the boot floor is also immaculate. The engine bay is also in fantastic condition and still looks new, the more time I spend with this car the more I appreciate its condition.
This Rover also has gleaming panitwork which belies its 23 year vintage and it still has its original Mann Egerton dealer plates front and back and rear window sticker. They supplied the car new in Kings Lynn.
In short this example offers a very viable Classic alternative that will only get rarer and also offers the chance to own a super low mileage car that can be driven, enjoyed or shown, the choice is yours.
It has a long MOT until next September and is ready to be driven away.
