MERCEDES W114 250 CE. 1972 RHD
I am in the process of consolidating my 2 Mercedes, ( W114 CE and ML AMG), into one classic car that suits my needs. Got to be a Mercedes and 4 x 4 so probably a G Wagon. This W114 CE was bought to keep me occupied during retirement but as it is in such good condition requiring no further work it has lost the "Hobby" appeal and is not being used. I did not buy this as an investment.. If I did it would not be for sale now as these W114 Coupes are very rare and will soon be very expensive. The car is Black with black MB Tex interior. 99500 miles. MoT to October 2019 (no advisories). No dents or dings. Interior is excellent. No cracks to the dash. All instruments work. Clock refurbished with a new quartz movement. Heater fan WORKS!!. . No holes in the parcel shelf and door pockets in place, rear seatbelts No rust to wings, sills. boot, door bottoms, wheel arches. Headlight lens are clear and reflectors are good, all chrome is fine as are the hubcaps and exhaust. During my 4 years of ownership I have ensured that it has wanted for nothing. Oils and filter changed every 3000 miles: Only run on Shell Supermax with Tetraboost. Wayoyled every year. All interior panels removed to get at the watertraps and all window raising mechanisms greased. The previous owners had carried out a comprehensive rebuild of the body with evidence of expenditure and details on the huge history file. " I have fully reconditioned the cylinderhead, renewed the carpets, fitted new boot mat, Fitted an expensive "123" Electronic Ignition system, prop shaft, 4 hardly used Kumo tyres, original Mercedes mats, modern FM radio (looks like a Becker), window seals replaced With the car will come as many spare parts from my shed that the buyer can take away.... about £2000 worth. including: Bonnet, door, cylinderhed, rocker cover, all glass including front screen, manifolds, spare instruments, lights, bumper parts, heater, wiring, hoses, distributor, injectors, Jetronic parts, petrol tank, parcel shelf, new filters, seals, brake parts, engine mounts, rare exterior chrome and many more essential bits and pieces to keep the wheels rolling. The car is based in Heacham in northwest Norfolk PE31 7**.
