Great example of a classic 2001 umbrella model GTIR, well maintained by previous owners with solid body and chasis. Only 82, 000 miles with good MOT history to back it up. Very loud and very fast and certainly not for the faint hearted! Starts and drives perfectly and handles great with good compression and oil pressure. No signs of rust or corrosion and body panels all straight and dent free. Nice clean gleaming bodywork with some minor age related marks but overall in great condition for nearly a 30 year old car. Interior is all original and clean and tidy.

• Full service and New MOT
• New battery, drop links, pads and discs.
Full engine rebuild in 2018 from RE Performance centre in Manchester including:
• ACL heavy duty big end and main bearings
• Block re-bored and honed, with balanced rod set, reseated valves and tappets
• Fully overhauled cylinder head, refaced with new valve set, ring set, gaskets and seals including Cometic multi layered steel head gasket
• New gearbox and transfer box oil
In 2017 this car was serviced by Shiltech performance car centre in Leicester where it had:
• Full service
• New axhillary belts
• New timing chain tensioner
• New water pump
Car has recently been fully undersealed, before and after pics are available for inspection.

Unfortunately there is not much history so only the V5, and some odd papers will come with the car. It has just had an MOT with no advisories.
