For sale is our incredible Corvette C1
This C1 is truly special in that it is the highest scoring C1 known to be judged at the Duntov Award (the highest level of concours for Corvette) achieving 99. 6, being awarded the Duntov Mark of Excellence. The car is the idaela collector piece being the dream specification of Fuel injected, 327ci, 4 speed manual and is of course fully matching numbers.
The car was restored over a 30 year period by perhaps the most enthusiastic and precise owner you might wish to find, a Mr J Wright. Mr Wright collected all the correct parts required over a considerable period of time, but crucially also collected data points and reference material to ensure each and every detail he put into the car was correct. This culminated in a 30 year project that achieved the highest awards given by the NCRS, this car has been awarded;

- National Top Flight Award, July 2010 (Charlotte, NC)
- Duntov Mark of Excellence Award (99. 6%), July 2010 (Charlotte, NC)

Since winning the highest possible awards the car, and looking after her for another couple of years, Mr Wright sold the car to a collector in Arizona. This collector placed the car inside his private garage along with other award winning cars until July 2017, when I purchased the car. The car had been regularly ran up to temperature and serviced, but she had not been driven, preserving the restoration.
On bringing the Corvette to the UK, she was registered on UK plates, serviced and given a thorough inspection by marque specialists (who commented they have never seen a C1 of this quality). She has been driven sparingly on dry days and kept in our temperature and humidity controlled garage.
She is now ready to be passed on to another person who will recognise this significance of this particular car. Please see below for the specification;
