Nice substantial 4 door saloon car, it does all that it should do, it starts, stops and turns corners, none of which it does very quickly, if your looking for a "getaway" car this is not for you but if you like pottering along keep reading.
The engine has been re-built with new pistons, valve and a crank re-grind, it's a 1600cc sidevalve that pulls like a train, once up to speed it can be left in 4th gear for all but the steepist of inclines, it happily cruises along at 45mph with some in reserve.
The brakes have been re-built and it stops better than a lot of 1950's cars that I've driven.
The radiator has been re-built as has the petrol tank the list of work goes on. It's fitted with an electric petrol pump and SU carb which is not original but does improve both starting and running, the originals are available.
Overall the car is in nice condition but not a show winner, I'm in North Suffolk.
