For sale is my VFR750 FV registered in 1997.
It is in amazing, original, condition with 22, 697 miles having been MOT’d (26th July) with no advisories.
I bought this bike in February 2017, specifically, for a trip two years ago and decided to hang onto it as it was a great surprise, a great all round bike whose engine and ergonomics are the stars of the show. Everything falls to hand and the bike handles so well and predictably.
It is fitted with Michelin Pilot Road 3 tyres which have thousands of road miles left in them. New front brake pads, chain and sprockets are all only 2, 000 miles used and are still like new. Bike has just been oil and filter serviced, together with new NGK Iridium spark plugs.
Prior to this it has a full service history by the supplying dealer until I took ownership out of the area. I also replaced the regulator with an upgraded version, though the previous one worked fine. It was just a precaution to protect the new battery which is on a charger 24hr/ day. The bike is garaged and up for sale because it is not really in use. Any short trips out are really to keep it in great mechanical condition and not planned outings. All bar ends, brake, clutch and gear levers and mirrors are original. The previous owner assured me it has never been dropped. It has not been dropped in my ownership.
The bike wants for nothing and is an incredible piece of Honda engineering. All plastics are in unmarked condition. No cracks, no breaks. Everything fits together like a swiss watch on this bike. Reported courier use in London sees these bikes with 330K miles with only consumables serviced. I often thought of this bike back in the day as the gentleman’s choice and it certainly is a great, true, all-rounder with its protective fairing, superb rideability on tour, in town and across country.
Price includes charging lead, new old stock Givi rack, 2x Givi side cases and Givi top box (all as new), original silver grab handles and rear seat cowl, original tool kit, manuals and service book.

I paid top money for this bike and it has been totally worth it. There are less expensive VFRs out there, but if you want one that has a great history and is in superb condition then this bike should be on your list to look over. Any professional inspection and sensible questions, welcome.
