Description
1953 Studebaker 2R6-12 (½-ton) Pickup Truck, an exceptionally solid example of a very attractive truck.
Many new parts fitted to the truck; new tyres and battery, complete interior include sun visors from Loga Enterprises, USA, new indicators and taillights plus chrome stalk. The radiator has been re-cored and a new heater matrix to last the next 65 years. Steel wheels refurbished in red to set-off the white exterior.
The truck retains its venerable Studebaker Champion, flat-six 170 CID (2. 8 Ltr) engine and 4 on-the-floor manual transmission. The engine has bags of torque.
A rust-free pickup truck has survived over 65 years of service. She wears her history well and while not a concourse restoration, she is well priced.
