1968 Pontiac Firebird in very good condition. imported 3 years ago and always kept dry.
This car has undergone an engine change to a Chevy LS3 V8.
The LS3 is one of the best modern engines ever built by Chevy. It is fuel injected which gives 430 BHP in standard form or can be increased easily. It starts on the button in hot or freezing weather and returns 30 to the gallon. I am not sure of the age of the engine but we think around 2009. In America this engine swap is so normal there are books on how to fit a LS3 into a Firebird. Lots of English kit car builders are now fitting this engine as it is so good. You can go to Shorham a buy a complete crate engine of the shelf so spares are easy and cheap.
We bought this after trying to find a Camaro or Mustang but after test driving lots and being disappointed we came across this and did the deal immediately after the test drive. This car is very quick but has had all the brakes updated and they are superb. It is one of the most comfortable cars and you can rack up the miles without worrying.
We have just bought a new project and so , regretfully, the Pontiac is looking for a new home. You try and buy a Mustang or Camaro in this condition for this money! It's was a no brainer for us.
