My very special 205 Gti is for sale and looking for a lucky owner to enjoy it like I have.
It is 1 of the 300 limited edition 1. 9 Miami Blue models with full immaculate grey leather interior. The interior really is as good as it gets and a credit to all who have owned it.
The mileage is at 103, 400 which for a 29 year old car is very low, approximately 3, 500 a year. These miles all seem to have been in fair weather as the car is in incredible condition.
I have owned the car since January 2017 and in that time I have chosen to just improve what I could but keep it standard. It recently had a freshly rebuilt rear beam using all Peugeot oe parts and then powdercoated in the familiar yellow, black and red colours. The two rear dampers were also replaced at this time with oe equivalent Bilstein items and the rear dust covers blasted and powdercoated to leave it all looking like new.
There was a replacement of the mats with bespoke 205 Gti items to enhance the interior. It drives like it should and none of the factory 128bhp appears to have disappeared in 29 years. Gears change with a very smooth and precise action and the brakes are like new and very powerful.
There is a Clarion stereo unit in the car but I am unsure if it is the standard one, but I have left it in there.
Recently refurbished alloy wheels in silver and four new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.
The cambelt and water pump were replaced just before I purchased it for my own piece of mind. This does leave the car wanting for nothing and ready to be enjoyed and used as the next owner sees fit. Shows, drive outs and b-road fun would all be what it would relish.
It had a full service recently which also included replacing a rear caliper with a new one, some brake line work and generally looking over it to see if anything needed attention. It really is ready to go with no expense required.
