Beschreibung
In 2000, Porsche introduced the 996 Turbo, equipped with four-wheel-drive and a 3. 6 litre, twin turbocharged and intercooled flat-six derived from the GT1 race car producing 420bhp.
In 2002, the X50 package was offered as an option on the Turbo that included larger K24 turbochargers and intercoolers, a revised ECU and quad-pipe exhaust which raised power output to 331 kW (450 PS; 444 hp).
Performance for the standard 996 Turbo was phenomenal at the time and the X50 package cars were faster still with a 0 to 60 mph coming up in 4. 0 seconds and a top speed of 192mph.
Available with either a 5-speed Tiptronic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox, we think the original owner ticked the better option box.
This example is a 2003 model which has only covered 51, 000 miles from new and is finished in the rare colour of Viola metallic with classic grey leather interior and features over and above the standard specification the following options:
Heated seats
Top tinted screen
Parking sensors
Electric sunroof
Telephone module for PCM
Telephone handset for PCM module
CDC-4 six disc autochanger
Soft ruffled leather seats
Porsche Communication Management (PCM)
Performance Kit (X50)
Aluminium coloured instrument dials
Centre console in exterior colour
Sports Steering wheel
18” SportTechno wheels
Porsche crest embossed on head restraints
Inner sills finished in leather
