The electric "crane" in the boot was fitted by a previous owner to lift a wheelchair into the boot. This can be removed if you want - only leaving a small hole in the carpet trim.
The rear child seats have only one working seatbelt. The metal buckle appears to have come off the other one.
The leather seats are in good condition except from one of the rear headrests which has split at the bottom.
The vinyl at the top of the door cards has peeled away slightly, as is often the case with these.
The body is largely straight, and I polished it recently. The front and rear bumpers are not the best, and the drivers door has a scratch on the lower area that someone has tried to cover with touch-up paint. These marks currently stand out a tad more than usual due to the white residue from polishing. Stand a few metres away and it looks lovely!
It drives very well and the engine pulls strong. There are no noises from the suspension.
The battery and alternator were recently replaced.
The oil was just changed, along with the air filter.
I believe this car did sit in storage for a few years, where it gathered a small amount of surface rust on the front and rear sub-frames. I'm confident that the rust has not gone particularly far and could be remedied, however, even if you leave it won't become a structural problem for several years yet.
All tyres have plenty of life left in them.
Annoyingly the lambda light is on, and I have retrieved the fault code 212 for the oxygen sensor signal. The engine runs great so I'm not sure what to make of that. There's a possibility that the code just needs clearing.
I wish I could justify keeping it. I'm fond of old Volvo's and I've got two 740's that need my attention once this has gone.
