Chassis HU12 was originally sold to Carl Haas in the US in March 1972 and driven by Gus Hutchison. Subsequent US owners include Eddie Miller, Dan Gardner and Mike Ferraro, before returning to the UK in 1985. Raced in HSCC events by John Beasley, Gary Pearson, John Harper and Nick Rini. Restored by Simon Hadfield in 2006 and raced regularly by Bruce Fullerton in Derek Bell Trophy events in 2007 and 2008, until accident damaged in 2009.
Following a period in storage we have rebuilt the car using a specialist manufactured replacement monocoque, roll hoop and suspension components. Freshly painted in its original livery this stunning example has a low miles TT Motors engine, new clutch, bag tank, nose cone and wings.
Complete with a fascinating history file including SCCA Log Book, period programmes/ results, copies of all previous FIA papers, correspondence with Hutchison and most recent programmes/ results. It requires tyres, extinguisher and belts to race and is competitively priced to take account of this. Ideal for the Aurora Trophy and Tasman series.
