Description
In nice tidy condition for its age is a rare Bluebird Estate (They all seem to be white?) that I acquired about 4 months ago from a long-term elderly female owner. I intended to flip it straight away but decided to MOT it as it had sat under cover for almost a year after its MOT had expired.
It failed on a split ball-joint cover (now replaced), emmissions (now tweaked) and some welding to the rear sill. This was attended to at my local classic car garage who used their professional mobile welder to sort out the sills to a nice standard. The plastic arch covers will need to be put back on.
Minor issues are shown in pics;
bent aerial wont go down.
Radio and cassette player don't work (fuse?)
Only have 3 out of the 4 original plastic Nissan wheel trims
Head rests missing (the old lady took them out so she could attend to her dogs in the rear and "lost" them- the headrests not the dogs.)
There is some crazing to the roof paint by the aerial and a few areas of surface rust as shown in pics
The front LH wing has some filler in the bottom and the inner lip is a bit frilly.
I did a light recommission with the oil/ filter, thermostat and anitfreeze.
Tyres are good. It starts and runs like it should and I have had a whale of a time driving it around the M25... what a cruiser! It is HUGE inside and I got 9 builders pallets in it for firewood-amazing!
It is clean and tidy inside (but might still smell of the old lady's dogsI - think I got nose blind to it) although the drivers seat bolster has come unstitched but looks to be an easy repair. Viewing recommended, as always. Priced for quick sale (I'm losing the space to park it)
