Description
This 1964 Morris Mini Cooper 998 was parked up in the garage of its previous owner in Lancashire over 40 years ago and was only removed from its resting place a few weeks ago.
The car is complete and original still with its original engine and red/ grey brocade interior. The interior is in great condition, the rear seat looks like it’s barely been sat on. There are some great little 60s accessories like the dash , parking lights, arm rests on the doors, and rare steering wheel. The car still has lots of 60s memorabilia left inside it including No. 6 cigarette packets, Green Shield stamp books, and even a 60s news paper in the rear pocket. The floor panel inside is still all in its original factory tartan red paint as is the boot floor etc. The car has had outer sill replacement but no signs of any other welding. However time has taken its toll on the body and needs a full restoration with new panels required in all the usual places.
Rare to find such an original Cooper to restore, complete with original engine, chassis and body numbers plus the first logbook, a current V5C is also included.
