Very rare and desirable early car, Porsche-checked as full matching numbers. Produced in late August 1965 and sold in Texas.
LHD, original color #6605 Bahama Yellow, with Black interiors.
It carries all early 901/ 2 specs: short wheel base, green-on-black three gauge instrument cluster, rectangular 4 bolts engine support, 4-screw horn grills, angled cursive script 912 badging, interconnected p-o-r-s-c-h-e badge. It also carries the earliest 912s Mann & Hummel dumper air filters.
It carries very rare options: Delan-Air air-cooling system, automatic electric-power antenna, 5-speed gear, catacolor tinted glass.
Engine and transmission: very original and complete. Body: rusty and in need of a bare metal restoration, but almost complete and very original.
Great base for a restoration project, resulting in an outstanding very-early 912 with rare and iconic color.
