Ford Escort 1300E. Purple Velvet with Black Vinyl Roof. car is showing 37000 miles and V5 shows 6 previous owners. Very good looking car with all the correct period accessories on it. These cars are very rare given that most were turned into RS or Mexico replicas. Car is on the button and ready to be used.
Body - 1300E shell with the correct Mexico style wings on it. Was restored about 5 or 6 years ago and still looks very tidy. Evidence of a few previous repairs underneath but overall fairly original and solid with nothing needing doing. Underneath has been painted body colour. Paintwork still looks decent with only very minor marks. Panel gaps are good. Car is not a concourse car but is a nice tidy useable solid example. New vinyl roof. All correct chrome trim, spotlights, badges.
Mechanics - All correct 1300E . 1300 crossflow engine, 4 speed box, standard running gear. Car starts runs and drives as it should. Recently serviced. When it was restored all new brakes. Suspension and steering components were replaced as required.
Interior - Original wood dash and 6 dial clocks. New headlining, Seats have been retrimmed with correct covers, Good carpet. Original door cards. Very tidy inside.
Wheels - Original steels with chrome trim rings and centre caps. Good tyres
