Description
This is a 1967 Alvis Saloon with the ZF manual gearbox. Originally registered in the UK it spent many years in Sweden. I brought it back to the UK in 2015 intending to refurbish it and use it as an everyday car.
I have done a lot of work but have decided to sell as I find that I’ve not able to spend the time on it.
Work done includes new rear shock absorbers; new hubs and bearings when steel wheels were replaced with refurbished wire wheels; brakes refurbished; new clutch cylinders; re-cored radiator;re-chromed radiator surround ; fuel pump rebuildand new anti roll bar bushes.
Work to be done includes new carpets; re-colour the leather which is sound; sort out lighting wiring and “tune” engine. I have had it running previously.
Bodywork is presentable but shows some rust bubbles.
Chassis is sound as far as I can see.
