Description
This 'bike is a Special based on the well known Matchless CS/ TCS desert racer models mainly sold to the USA. This is a 600cc alternator engine with alloy barrel and central plug cyl. head, reputedly built by Ken De Groome AJS/ Matchless expert and tuner. Registered 6-4-1964 so has Norton gearbox, long roadholder forks and Norton front and rear drums. I've owned about three and a half years and done 300 miles, previous owner 28years. The bike is very lively although still easy to ride in town. Brakes pretty good for an oldie. Condition not perfect but very good. Goes well, new tyres recently fitted. Half the price of a real Typhoon and most other similarly styled 'Scrambles' 'bikes. Viewing welcomed.
