For Sale is my beautiful UK 1999 Revision 5 Toyota MR2 in Comos Blue with full black leather interior.
Outstanding condition for year.
Now officially has classic car status being 21 years old.
I have owned this car for the past 6 years having bought it from its only other owner with the intention of carrying out a sympathetic restoration of this fabulous car. Upon purchase the car had done 76, 000 miles by its original lady owner in York. To date it has only covered approx 92, 000 miles. Each and every year is covered by a fully documented service history. During my ownership I have had all services and additional work carried out by National award winning local garage ABP Motorsport.
Soon after purchase I joined the MR2 owners club which helped me learn about the MR2 mark and helped me with contacts in sourcing parts etc. Work that I have had done is as follows:-
Front end / bonnet resprayed due to stone chips.

From the original owners records a new clutch was fitted in 2014 along with a new slave cylinder.
Everything is backed up with a comprehensive history documenting all works and services approx 36 pages in total.
So after 6 years of ownership although not perfect I can confidently say that this is one of the best Mk2 MR2’s around and you would be hard pressed to find one like it . In my opinion it would not take much to bring this car up to show standard .
There is a very small amount of corrosion bubbling up on the front offside wheel arch and the rear nearside wheel arch which is very hard to see unless pointed out. The wheel arches are all solid. There is a minimal amount of wear in leather on drivers seat in accordance with vehicles use. Passenger side is as new and condition of interior is excellent. All stereo system is original from factory . Electric aerial works as should . Included in the sale is a complete set of colour coded Genuine Toyota mud flaps in as new condition . Original T- bar roof cards and Glass covers. Also a MR2 specific fitted interior dust cover.
Comes with 2 x keys, 2 alarm fobs, service book, owners manual in leather Toyota wallet and original Genuine Toyota Front & Rear Suspension springs which I have had powder coated and can be refitted to the car if new owner wishes to keep springs as original.
