With most of the hard work already undertaken, but time pressure demands too plentiful for our vendor, he has decided to pass his part-completed Range Rover project to somebody new for completion in their preferred choice of trim.
Still wearing its original Tuscan Blue, this brightly hued Range Rover has travelled a modest 83, 500 miles in the hands of just three former keepers and our vendor since March 2016. . Prior to our vendor, it lived for some time in Iver, Buckinghamshire, and was largely looked after by Love Green Garage of Iver with receipts for minor servicing and maintenance before being laid-up around 2013 after excessive front chassis corrosion refused it an MOT.
Not perturbed by this, and because of the sound mechanical nature of this 3528cc Range Rover, our vendor took on this project in 2016 and quickly set about getting the chassis and bodywork refurbished and repainted in its original Tuscan Blue. Then life took over, and little real progress has been made since. The interior door card construction is complete, the seat frames and bases are all present, but all interior soft furnishings now require retrimming including the headlining.
Once finished and standing on its cream painted steel wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Radial tyres (front) and Kingpin Pathfinders (rear), this will be a very desirable and rugged utility vehicle.
