Description
This is a 1987 Cadillac Allante Convertible, designed and built by Pininfarina in Italy and shipped to the US by 747 to be assembled with its running gear by General Motors.
These ultra-luxury 2-seater convertibles were very expensive and well-built. They are quite rare on this side of the Atlantic and now eminently collectible.
This example is a Swiss-delivered car that has only had 2 owners from new and has spent most of its life pampered in a collection. However it is fully roadworthy, didn't miss a beat on a recent 100-mile journey, is on NOVA and is fully-MOT'd ready for easy UK registration and for its next chapter in its life.
This example has only covered a genuine 7, 600 miles from new and remains in a virtually as new condition, including the underbody and will appeal to the most discerning collector.
This example is so pristine that Classic and Sportscars did a feature on it in their December 2020 issue.
There was also an excellent article on the Allante in Dyler online recently, here's the link : - details above
