I have owned this bike for 23 years. I believe it was originally exported to South Africa as an ‘Executive’ model and came back to the UK in 1996. I have a letter from Triumph Owners Club that was used to re-register along with some history. It is in amazing condition with original paint and chrome, a wonderful patina and no rust. Apart from a head gasket change, I don’t think the engine has ever been apart. It still has standard pistons. There are no damaged threads or rounded-off nuts/ bolts on the bike. Stored for the last 15 years it was running fine when last used. The bike was originally fitted with an electric start and I still have all the necessary parts to reinstate. Prior to laying-up I replaced the swinging arm spindle (and bushes), 3-phase alternator and had the seat recovered. I have recently fitted a new stainless-steel front brake master cylinder and flexible hose. Norton style silencers fitted which sound glorious. Headers are original and even the chrome isn't discoloured. Will need new battery, but that’s about it. Tax/ MOT exempt April 2021. Selling because I have 2 other bikes and simply can’t see me ever using this one again, so better it should go to someone who will.
