Welcome to another story about a Porsche that has been loved by many but hardly been used. In fact as the MOT history shows, the registered keeper and owner of the last 18 years barely covered 6000 miles since 2002 and much of that time the car was off-road.
Supplied with the car is an extensive history file dating back to 1995 with most if not all MOT’s, many individual invoices and lots of evidence of the vehicle being sorn. We cannot trace when the RSR body kit was fitted to this car, though photographs supplied show the car in the early 90s with RSR body kit already in place. The car looked stunning back then and we can confirm it still does today after a serious overhaul and bare metal restoration around 2011/ 2012. During this time it was fitted with a G50 gearbox, a stainless polished exhaust and a Momo steering wheel which further complimenting the immaculate black leather upgraded sports seats. Since this time the car has not been used.
The quality of this RSR modification is exceptional and has been complimented recently by a well-known Porsche specialist who was surprised and pleased that the rear arches and the front wings are steel. The paintwork presents beautifully with no signs of overspray and all the lines and fitments are above the norm.
The only minor defects is some minor stone chips to the front of the rear arch section (see photos) and we felt the car deserved to have the full rear light and reflector section replaced due to fading which we have sourced from Porsche (OEM parts).
Exceptional in its condition, exclusive in its appearance and drives beautifully thanks to its genuine low mileage; it is unlikely that you will see anything else like this again, other than of course an original RSR which can sell upwards of £300k.
