The particularly graceful styling is the classic Jaguar ‘four-headlamp’ and the interior is lavishly appointed with wood and leather upholstery in the marque’s finest traditions. During the initial launch campaign, Jaguar's boss, Sir William Lyons described the XJ6 as ‘the finest Jaguar ever’.
It is powered by an upgraded 4. 2 Litre straight-six engine of the Series 3 and driven through a 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished in a rather elegant Blue colour with a brownish leather interior. An original Cyprus supplied car with only 2 owners from new. The odometer indicates only 43, 000 miles!
This XJ6 has been reconditioned to a very high standard with more than €15, 000 spent in the last years, including all the receipts of the restoration. The car was bought new from Jaguar official dealership in Cyprus which has lived all of its life, hence, no sign of rust all-around the car.
