Description
1986 Mercedes-Benz 207D Auto-Trail Sioux five berth motorhome.
A well-loved and usable classic based around the ultra-reliable Mercedes engine and rear-wheel drive chassis.
L-shaped lounge that makes a double bed at the rear of the vehicle, two side-facing dinette seats behind the cab make a single bed, plus the usual double bed over the cab. The bathroom is in the corner at the rear which makes for an open and spacious daytime layout.
Gas hot water, two-ring hob, grill, oven, and heater all in good working condition. The fridge is also in good working order and can draw power from either gas or electric.
Domestic water pump and outlets all in good working condition. Separate fresh water and waste water tank level indicators. Bathroom with freestanding toilet, sink and shower facility.
New cab stereo, engine battery and leisure battery fitted summer 2020.
All original interior furnishings and fixtures except for the ceiling lights.
Cab, accommodation and chassis all in good condition with little sign of rust. Nicks and scuffs both internally and externally commensurate with age.
Two known points of previous water ingress inside the accommodation (one before and one during our ownership) that were resolved at the time, although there is still a small amount of cosmetic evidence of each. Resealing has been undertaken when required. No known issues at present, but given the age of the vehicle you never know when a window or rooflight will need attention.
Bespoke two-bike rack on the back. Wind-out awning on the nearside. Mileage currently stands at 108, 500.
Plenty of service history, manuals and documentation. New MOT 13th March 2021.
This motorhome has been in use with the same extended family for fifteen years. There’s definitely value to be added to this vehicle for the right person; in the meantime it’s a clean, comfortable, attractive, mechanically sound, classic motorhome that is immediately usable.
