RARE 1958 FACEL VEGA FV4 'TYPHOON' COUPE with HEMI V8
This extremely rare 1958 Facel Vega FV4 Typhoon Coupe is an excellent original car that would benefit from servicing and minor cosmetics. Red with tan leather interior. Just out of a large collection where it's been sitting in storage for several years under the same ownership. It has a nice and straight body and is very solid overall. Not currently running. The stylish, luxurious and fast FV4 was the top of the line Facel Vega model in 1958. It coupled French styling and design with reliable high performance American running gear. The FV4 featured the legendary 354ci Chrysler HEMI V8 with 325hp and twin four barrel carburetors. Facels have always had a devoted following, their avant garde design appealing to those who appreciate something a little different and keen to sample the qualities that proved so attractive to the many high profile original owners of these cars. Today the Facel Vega is considered by many to be the last of the great French hand-built automobiles. Their iconic design, quality construction, and American V8 Power appeal to many. However, examples are seldom seen except in some of the world’s most premier collections. This particular example represents an exciting opportunity.
