Just imported from South Africa.
Unlike many imported cars this Escort has been correctly imported. It has a vin, Nova registered and papers to easily and correctly register it.
1969 Escort MK1.
All the correct bits for an early car, locks in door handle, protruding fuel neck, rear shocks on a frame, etc.
Strengthened shell from the factory, shock top plates, etc, similar to type 49, Mexico, RS.
No sunroof.
Opening quarter windows.
Good boot floor.
Chassis rails look very good and floors have only had a small amount of welding.
Arches and silly kit need to be sorted.
Rear internal arches have been ruined.
Gearbox tunnel has had another hole cut.
Engine is just loosely sitting in place on homemade temporary mounts.
No gearbox.
