A great first classic this Herald has been mine for 5 years and for sale as i now have a Stag. Genuine convertible with correct chassis #
The good - it starts easily, runs and stops well.
It has a lovely patina and a new clutch, SS exhaust, 5 good tyres, a custom steering wheel and the original if preferred, engine electrics replaced in the last 5 years
Fuel tank professionally welded and generally in A1/ S condition (insurance value 5, 500 GBP) according to TSSC.
The not so good - it is a 52 year old car so it has paint mismatch / blisters, various minor dings and a bit of rust but chassis is sound.
There is a repair patch on the rear window and one needed for the side (photo 2) however the hood works and a cover and tonneau are included.
It will pop out of reverse gear if you give it too much throttle but light hand pressure on the stick keeps it going backwards no problem.
The heater blower does not work and the horn is via a toggle switch.
