Car in good maintenance condition, Fiat red exterior color and interior restored with two-tone dark blue / red seats, for a truly elegant and sporty color combination. Original grille and front frame, original Fiat three-spoke steering wheel, gearbox with four speeds plus reverse and rear wheel drive. Original instrumentation in perfect working order, and radio with speakers positioned in the door panels. Engine recently overhauled by the previous owner, flawless black canvas top. It has already carried out the revision with a deadline of March 2023.

Contrary to its image as a manufacturer of popular cars, FIAT has almost always had sporty or sporty-looking models in its price list. Towards the end of the 1950s, however, they were not very competitive compared to sports cars such as Alfa Romeos, and so Fiat decided to create a spider with a more elegant and European taste. The new spider, with bodywork designed by Pininfarina, presented at the 1959 Geneva Motor Show, was baptized "1200 Cabriolet" but it was a true two-seater spider. It had such commercial success that it immediately became the most popular Cabriolet in Italy, recording sales of over 15. 000 units from March 1959 to March 1963.
