WW2 1944 Ford GPW Jeep
We have treated this as a conservation project rather than a full restoration. We have saved as much of the original as possible and have used period metal to repair where needed! We have retained some of the dings and dents which give the Jeep it’s character. It is an ideal “field condition Jeep” to be used and enjoyed!

Engine is an early CJ unit (stamping number on the block might be a late MB casting) with a GPW head
Engine has had new water pump, fuel pump, head gasket, oil filter, fuel strainer, water pipes. The engine is running and pulls well. It hasn't had many miles since the restoration so might need some minor tweaking. Gearbox is quiet and smooth. Low range is all working
We have the original hood number
Plenty of F marks dotted around!
Tub has been professionally welded using donor metal. The tub and chassis have been coated in red oxide primer and overpainted in Olive Drab
. We have left it as a “blank canvas” in terms of markings in case you want to mark it up as something other than US
