Selling on behalf of a customer, we have a stunning example of Honda’s 408cc mini superbike in our showroom. Introduced after the original 750 four the 400 soon gained a reputation for big bike performance packed into a small chassis.
With 37bhp on tap these bikes could top the magical 100mph, on a private road of course!
This example has been restored and is as original as we have seen, plenty of Dave Silver receipts to back up work undertaken and parts replaced. We believe you would struggle to find a cleaner more pristine example, as you can see in the photographs, the chrome work is great condition, with what we believe to be an original standard exhaust system fitted. Looking under the seat shows the original tool tray, complete with lid, its clean.
