- This 1967 Morris Mini Cooper S was delivered new to Stewart and Ardern, Ltd. of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England, where it was subsequently converted to Sprint specifications.
- Initial modifications included removing several inches from the roofline and beltline, and further customization was carried out by Wood & Pickett, Ltd. of London, England beginning in late 1970.
- Commissioned work carried out at that time included converting the car to left-hand drive, soundproofing and reupholstering the interior in black leather, repainting the body silver, and upgrading the engine.
- The vehicle was later stolen in Los Angeles, California in 1972, retrieved, and shipped back to Wood & Pickett in 1974 to repair damage incurred during the theft and to further modify the car.
- Power is provided by a Richard Longman & dash;rebuilt 1, 380cc inline-four mated to a Retro Engineering five-speed manual transmission.;Minilite 10 & times;6 Prime; magnesium wheels are wrapped in 165/ 70 Yokohama Advan HF Type-D A-008 tires.
- Cooper S 7. 5 & Prime; disc brakes are fitted up front.
- A Hi-Lo suspension has been fitted.
- The coachbuilt interior features Recaro seats upholstered in black leather over matching carpeting.
- Additional features include a center armrest, modified rear quarter boxes to allow the seats to have longer travel, a Becker Mexico cassette stereo, and added power windows.
- This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a one of a kind Mini Cooper S.
