2004 MG TF 135 in rare Nocturne Blue (Monogram Supertallic). Described by MG as a “greyed off mid dark blue “.
Car appears to have been specified by the original dealer with optional front fog lamps, leather interior, sport pack 2 and with blue soft top ( no cost alternative colour option).
The car has full documented ownership history, complete with all MOT certificates, and is very original.
It has a very partial service history, and although having 5 registered keepers, it has only really had 2 long term “owners” who have driven the car over long periods of time.
It appears from previous owners records that the car has had the head gasket work done as a result of failure and has also had the stainless steel coolant pipes fitted.
Condition.
The car starts, stops, runs and drives. I have completed a major service - new plugs, coil packs and leads, air and fuel filters, and oil flush and oil & filter change.
The antifreeze level in the coolant was tested and found to be ok. The car will need a cam belt and auxiliary belt change as I have no records of when this was last done. I will supply a new cam belt, auxiliary belt and water pump service kit as part of the sale.
The soft top is dirty but weatherproof. Back (plastic) window is good (recently replaced).
The car also comes with a black hard top which was has recently had the head lining replaced.
The Mot has expired on the car and it is currently SORN.

The bodywork is tatty. Needs 2x replacement front wings and sill end attention at the usual places.
The windscreen has a chip which has been repaired but is sealed but still visible.
The exhaust back box is corroded, and will require replacement.
I have a set off brand new discs and pads which I will include in the sale price.
This car is a good project for someone, as only 11 TF 135s were made in this colour, so it is worth saving. You will need a trailer to collect the car.
