Car has been used only on dry days and for attending shows and high days. Regular short drives have been carried out throughout the winter months to ensure the engine components have been kept lubricated.
Finished in stunning Champagne Gold with matching hard top and hub caps. Best colour combination in my opinion.
The interior is completely original including the radio/ cassette player. All items in working order, clock, electric windows, radio, heating.
The seats are like new condition and the carpets present well.
Car has a rear luggage compartment that can be converted to additional seats although very tight for space.
14 inch alloys with colour coded hub caps which give the car a striking look. Tyre condition as new all round, very little wear.
Bodywork in great condition, no visible rust anywhere on the car, however I did notice a very small paint blister on the front wing.
The brown soft top was replaced in 2016 at a cost of £695.
The car comes with two sets of keys.
The hard top is kept in storage and not been used at all due to the weight of it. Very heavy and requires at least two people to fit. Could do with new seals on it for a flush fit.
The chrome work in some areas could be improved or replaced although I have opted to keep in original condition.
In summary, this Mercedes R107 is a sleek and stylish convertible ready to use on those summer high days and car shows. It comes with incredibly low running costs with no tax, mot and low classic insurance available through Footman James.

It suffered a small impact to the front although no structural or engine damage. I have full documented evidence of the accident and repairs which were completed with OEM parts from a donor car. My feeling is the insurance company just looked at it as an old car rather than assessing as a classic car. The quote was to source all new parts direct from Mercedes, eg. new set of headlights which are very expensive when it only needed a new lense cover for one headlight. I have a photographic folder of every part that was replaced.
Car is not really being used hence the reason for sale.
I'm around 30 minutes from either Glasgow or Edinburgh and happy to provide a pick up service for you to view the car should you wish to arrive by train or airport.
