EXTERIOR:
Special ordered in a stunning shade of Amazon Green Pearl Effect the classic curves of this 964 present with a certain elegance and modern style. The aesthetic range of the colour code is huge, varying from a shade of blue to green and vica versa, the pearl effect adding plenty of depth as it flickers between.
This example presents in excellent condition; having only had 3 owners and used sparingly throughout its life, but maintained and lavished with regular attention. A thorough detailing session in house has enhanced the already fabulous colour further with only a handful of stone chips to note on closer inspection.
INTERIOR:
Continuing the impressive factory spec this 964 comes fitted with a set of sports seats, with electronic height adjustment, upholstered in a contrasting Light Grey leather with tonal black piping. The grey and black combination stretches across the dashboard, door cards and headlining and works perfectly with the exterior colour coding.
Being a light interior it can be prone to wear and discolouration however we're pleased to report the interior is sharp, clean and with no major marks or stains throughout. With the correct airbag steering wheel, Blaupunkt headunit and optional sunroof it's a comfortable modern classic experience that any owner would be looking for from such a superb 964.
ENGINE:
The provenance of Porsche's air-cooled Flat-6 on start-up is satisfyingly evident as the engine erupts into life with a wonderful and familiar 911 sound, before settling to its renowned and familiar idle, this example made subtly louder with the addition of a sensible toned sports exhaust.
On the move if feels nimble and responsive, with the air-cooled 3. 6L providing plenty of power and sonorous enjoyment as it's worked up the rev range and through the 5 speed manual gearbox.
Mechanically the car is excellent order, with a full stamped service history, a recent major service in February 2022 and as ever a full inspection in-house and upon sale.
WHEELS:
The factory correct 16" wheels provide a superb ride and sit in fine fettle, free from any kerb marks or blemishes. The tyres are a matching with a set of Michelin rubber fitted last year, with near new tread depth remaining across all four corners.
The black Porsche branded callipers are just visible through the wheels, as are the discs which is all in good working order, free from and lipping or corrosion.
HISTORY FILE:
This very special Amazon Green 964 Carrera 4 was first registered by Five Oaks Jersey on 01/ 08/ 92 as outlined by the original stamped service book. With such a great spec from new it's no surprise that the first owner kept and enjoyed the car for just over 10 years with the second owner doing the same but over an even longer period from 2003 to 2019.
Amoungst the complete owners leather pack and books the original service book documents 17 service stamps in total (8 by the supplying dealer) and with the most recent being a major service in February 2022.
Along side the book pack in the history file is a selection of invoices while in the care of the second owner aswell as its most recent MOT certificate, v5 and both sets of keys.
