We are delighted to offer this UK supplied righthand drive Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce, supplied new by Anca Garage, Worthing. Manufactured in late 1976 and first registered in the UK on 4th January 1977, this lovely Spider is offered in its original colour of Verde Inglese with black interior. What is remarkable about this Alfa Romeo is not only its condition but its huge history file that documents all works and invoices since 1980.
This UK car has been subject to an older restoration and presents beautifully today, nicely patinated whilst being straight and level. The coachwork is in excellent order and is complimented with five new alloy Campagnolo wheels. The excellent original black interior is of particular note, being in incredible condition given its age. On inspecting the undersides, everything is in good order with the added benefit from a recent refresh of the wax protection.
Mechanically, the car starts easily and is a delight on the road having been subject to recent suspension works that include four new Koni Classic shock absorbers, springs and trailing arms; the car is shockingly quick; a new exhaust system has also been added. The mohair hood is excellent and is easily erected and dropped into the open position. The brakes are also excellent having recently been serviced.
This Spider is accompanied with the afore mentioned history file and includes a UK V5C registration document, original handbook, invoices and maintenance guides. This file is one of the most comprehensive history files I have seen.
It is rare to find an original UK car with only two recorded keepers, in this condition and with a wonderful colour combination.
