Description
1949 MG TC matching numbers, this car was a UK registered car and exported to California early on in its life. It was brought back to the UK in 2015 so this is a rust free car. I acquired this car in 2019 and decided to carry out a full restoration with no expense spared. This includes bare metal repaint, full engine rebuild, rebored, new pistons, new valves and cylinder head refaced, spin on oil filter conversion, gearbox and Axel bearings replaced, new clutch, recored radiator (as a precaution), new water pump, carburettors rebuilt, new brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, brake shoes, new king pins, wheel bearings, modified steering box, panhard rod, stainless steel exhaust, new wiring loom, new carpets and leather interior and new hood. Seats are original as far as I know and walnut dash. Brooklands steering wheel, new door safety catches, rechroming where necessary. This car is built to a very high standard as I am a perfectionist with no expense spared. Lots of receipts from Moss Europe. 5 new tyres and tubes. Starts, runs and drives exactly how it did in 1949.
