Another epic Fastback has just arrived at Duke of London. This ‘67 Fastback is finished in Ford Acapulco Blue Metallic. The car has the factory “Exterior Decor” option which comprises of turn signals in the bonnet, chrome wheel arch trims and chrome valve covers.
Inside, the car has a Black factory interior, which features a brush aluminium dashboard, original bucket seats, and lap seat belts. The dashboard retains all of its original gauges with the benefit of some more modern ones discretely installed beneath the radio.
The Mustang is powered by a Ford 302 V8 which has been professionally rebuild in the States. The engine features a Holley 650 cam Double Pumper carburettor, polished aluminium intake, Mallory distributor and coil, chrome pulleys, chrome strut brace, chrome oil pan, chrome Ford Racing valve covers and air cleaner and electric fans.
The car is fitted with a Top Loader 4 speed manual gearbox with a Hurst shifter, rebuilt clutch and Blowproof Bellhousing. It also has a Lokar central custom handbrake that works super well. The chassis has new bushings and the rear has adjustable Monroe air shock absorbers. It also has anti tramp bars fitted and has had a new fuel tank.
The rear end is a Ford 9” Posi-Traction axle with a 4:10:1 gear ratio. The exhaust is 2. 5” system with a H pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. To aid with usability, power steering and front disc brakes have been added to the car more recently. We have a sizeable invoice for this. It total transforms the way that the car drives and is one of the best driving Mustangs we have offered.
The wheels are Magnum 500s 15”x7” with 215/ 60/ 15 front tyres and 225/ 60/ 15 rear tyres, all brand new just installed this month.
In short, this car is perfect for someone looking for a car to just get in and use. It presents fantastically and drives even better, with some tasteful functional upgrades. This won’t hang around.
