Descripción
A genuine survivor car, offered for sale in original and unmolested condition, a lovely example of an increasingly rare 1979 Austin Morris Mini Super 850.
Registered in February 1979, finished in Ermine White, with original Sorrel ‘deck chair’ style interior, this is a lovely fast appreciating classic car that runs and drives well, thanks to a recent complete overhaul of the engine, suspension and brakes.
Work includes new brake shoes, wheel cylinders & master cylinder. The engine benefits from a completely rebuilt and re-bushed HS4 SU Carburettor, timing chain, points, and spark plugs. The engine has recently been expertly tuned by AC Dodd, and runs just as it should, happily keeping up with modern traffic. Offered with the option of period 10” Minilite Wheels with brand new Yokohama A008 tyres (at separate negotiation) or the genuine factory steel wheels. Also included are two sets of number plates to suit your taste, the older black and white style, and a new set of period correct plates from Tippers.
Although not quite concours, the paintwork is in great conditon, with only the odd age related mark. Most importantly, it is rot free, thanks to Zeibart treatment and dry storage.
All the glass is original and security etched with the cars registration. Complete with original FE number, commission & body number. Correctly dated Windscreen wiper motor & boot lock dates.
Large history file including full DVLA records, Heritage certificate, MOT certificates and receipts. It even has the original drivers manual. One of only 72 remaining roadworthy examples on the DVLA register.
A 998 engine & gearbox in good running order is also available at an extra cost if a little more power is desired.
MOT and Tax exempt, 7 previous owners.
Inspection welcomed.
