Description
I have for sale my early matching numbers Triumph 21 3TA in lovely overall condition. This was an earlier restoration that I have recently recommissioned with many new parts.
The bike was first delivered to the dealer on 17th Sept 1957 and registered in December of that year. It is a matching numbers bike with a metal bathtub that I have recommissioned with many new parts. These parts totalled over £1000, those I can remember include: new timing side crank bush, gear selector plate, pushrods, rings, 1 valve, clutch rollers, oil pipes, seals, pressure relief valve, cables, twistgrip, fork springs & seals, shock absorbers, psr8 switch and full LED conversion with modern regulator/ rectifier but probably others I have forgotten. I have kept as 6v working through the psr8 switch so still looks original and easy to convert back if desired.
There are some spares that have not been fitted including a new stainless steel front rim (it already has stainless steel spokes), new coil, distributor cover, re-chromed fork seal holders. carb parts etc.
I am selling as I find that I am not comfortable switching between British and Japanese control layouts.
