Bodywork
The paintwork is good for the age of the car not concourse, a few age related marks and chips but presentable.
In 2016/ 17 refurbished the engine bay and removed dealer prepped ziebart rust proofing that protected the car through its short years of daily use and re sprayed With the factor white.
In 2019 took the chassis to bare metal and re under sealed.
Interior
The soft-top convertible roof fits and seals well, having been recently replaced. And fully re trimmed interior in 2018.
All the gauges work correctly and the dashboard is in a good condition, with the wood being re varnished.
Engine
The engine is a standard 1300 unit that has had a very recent refresh (July 2021). All the bearings were replaced, head skimmed, new camshaft everything internally was cleaned, regasketed and repainted. the cylinders were deglazed, pistons sandblasted and had new rings fitted. All of this work has been photographed and documented.
The engine starts and runs perfectly. It has excellent oil pressure, even when warm, and an oil pressure gauge has been fitted.
Mechanical
The gearbox is fitted with factory overdrive and was also rebuilt at the same time as the engine with a new input and lay shaft.
The suspension all round has be refurbished with new rubbers shocks and bushes.
The differential has been rebuilt less than 1, 000 miles ago and the UJs have been replaced.
The front brakes have been refurbished
Callipers rebuilt and the brake lines replaced/ cleaned out. The rear brakes have been rebuilt with new shoes and cylinders. The handbrake works perfectly. Updated dot. 5 brake fluid.
