Alfa Romeo 145 Junior
Welcome to the sale of my little Alfa, with some reluctance I've decided it's time for us to part ways. I have other cars that I need to get sorted and I just don't drive this lovely little thing enough to justify keeping it.
I bought the 145 in February 2019, it's only had two previous owners but was a little unloved. Since I've owned it it's has a replacement sump fitted, replacement interior, new battery, new front droplinks, drivers side respray, new cambelt, new crank oil seal, recent service, Cloverleaf wheels, recent set of new Toyo tyres.
It is such a lovely car to drive, the 1. 6 Twin Spark engine is a thing of joy. Hold the revs in 2nd and 3rd and the exhaust makes a lovely throaty rasp, it's pretty nippy and handles well.
It's been super reliable, the engine starts first time every time. I dry store it at a local caravan storage facility over winter and whenever I pick it up, I just connect the battery and away it goes.
Any work needed has always been done by Neil at Italia Autos, he owns two of these so knows his way around them better than most.
This model is super rare, according to How Many Left there is only one of these currently on the road so you'll be guaranteed not to see another if you take it to a show.
So onto the good and not so good!
Good Points
The engine, it's an Alfa Twin Spark which is super reliable
Low mileage at 89323
Only two previous owners
12 months MOT
4 new Toyo tyres, fitted last year and done less than 100 miles since
Just had a new cambelt and crank oil seal fitted
Just had fluid and filter change
All electrics work
Bad Points
Body work is a bit scruffy in places and the roof paint is sun damaged. Small dent over near side rear wing, tried to show in pictures
The fabric is separating from the front door cards
Sun roof electrics function but it's a bit crusty around the edges so I never open it
Only has one key
Anyone that is interested would benefit from coming to have a look and I'll take you out in it, it's hard not to fall in love with the little thing when it's bounding down the local lanes.
I'm based in South Staffs just off junction 2 or 3 of the M54.
