1985 Peugeot 205 GT, finished in a very rare colour, Tropic Mimosa (pale yellow). I believe this colour was only used for 1 year (1985).

The first owner had the car for 2 years and then sold it to the second owner. The second owner then kept it until he sadly past away in 2020, after covering a total of 46, 000 miles. This is at the point I purchased the car.

The car is a very clean, low mileage, low owner early phase 1 car. The dashboard etc is all perfect, as are the seats and carpet. I personally have never seen another 205 in this colour and think it really suits the car well. It still retains its original Michelin MXL tyre on the spare wheel.
The car does require a repaint, but has all original panels and original dealer number plates and sticker in the rear window. The front wings need to be replaced due to corrosion, but I have two new genuine Peugeot wings ready to go on. The outer sills also require work, but I have two new genuine Peugeot outer sills. The original boot is also not perfect, but I have an immaculate Phase 1 boot which I removed from a 21k car ready to use on the GT. All other areas including inner wings, boot floor and headlight panels look immaculate. I have new genuine Peugeot GT decals to go on the car once its all painted, new rear bumper, new rear spoiler, badges etc.

I also have many new mechanical items i. e. engine sump, water pump, oil pump, coolant radiator, heater matrix, coolant hoses, oil hoses, valve stem seals, head bolts, clutch, gear linkage items, engine mounts, shock absorbers, top mounts, rear beam mounts, full exhaust system, brake pads and shoes. All of these items are original genuine Peugeot items.

There is a vast amount of parts I will include with the car as I would like to see it fully restored. Essentially, I have done the hard bit sourcing all the necessary original parts. 90% of what you will need is there. Its really a case of stripping the car down to carry out the bodywork and then rebuild.
