Austin Mini Pickup Mk1 RHD 1000cc 1966
Here we have a recently imported from South Africa 1966 mk1 Austin mini pickup with a 998cc engine and manual gearbox.
Mini is UK registered and MOT/ Tax exempt.
Engine runs but we have only tested it around the yard and noticed it is smokey.
This vehicle was restored a while ago in south africa but is to a low standard compared to the UK.
Paintwork is good at the front but is flat on the tub.
The under carriage seems ok but small hole at the front but we have lots of pics.
The cab looks in good condition with some small dents.
Rear tub sides are obviously dented and have been filled accordingly but not to a good standard.
Tub floor is good but there is very small fibre glass patch to 2 places(request pic).
2 vinyl seats in ok condition
headlining is present.
drivers door sliding window locks are missing
good wheels and tyres all round
Overall its not bad for an old mini pickup compared to what they usually are like and is a decent project that needs some work
but with a little attention can be used as is.
Viewing is highly recommended and any inspection is welcomed.
