1997 Saab 900 S Auto 2. 0 Petrol, ULEZ OK, 1 owner, 44k miles
Very rare and In outstanding original condition with only 45, 500 miles from new. Supplied by Ballards Saab of Finchley, I still have the bill of sale from when it was new and it's original dealer number plates. Ulez compliant (I have a letter from TFL) 2. 0 16V petrol engine which is both powerful and economical.
1 Owner with a full service history and extensive folder of receipts. Serviced by the same garage from new, this is a beautiful example of a practical usable modern classic car. The metallic black original paintwork is in good order for it's age and the plush grey velour interior is almost as new. It sits on Saab Viking alloys with brand new Avon tyres all round. Front & rear electric windows, electric mirrors, electric tilt/ slide glass sunroof and headlamp wash. It has all the mod cons plus the nostalgic look of the nineties. A very charming car that has been cherished and always gets lots of positive attention & compliments.
Recently serviced with Oil, Air & pollen filters changed, all fluids changed, 4 new Avon tyres, Laser wheel alignment and new Bosch wipers. Needless to say it drives incredibly as it should with lots of power in every gear, effortless gear changes, excellent handling and superb Saab build quality & safety. Everything works and there is nothing to do mechanically on the car. It's ready to enjoy. It has 5 doors, a huge boot and the seats also fold down flat so it's very versatile. It also has a ski hatch. The Speedometer was replaced in 2018 with a good 2nd hand unit (as i’m sure you know new old stock clusters are rare) at this time the car had covered exactly 41, 783 miles. The new unit had a reading of 82, 853 at the time of changeover and I have all the receipts for the work carried out. It’s currently at 86, 000 and will go up slightly as in use daily. Since the cluster change the car has covered around 4000 miles.
Overall the bodywork is good, there is a small dent in the rear passenger door, and some slight delimitation of the front windscreen on the edge, however everything is completely original and unmolested.
Comes with all it's original book packs and literature & 3 sets of keys. Any inspection welcome. I will be keeping the private number plate, it's an 08/ 97 car on an R Reg.
