We are pleased to offer what is my favourite of the Mini variants, the ever popular and very versatile Mini Clubman Estate. These cars offer all the Classic Mini charm with the bonus of extra space, they are as useful as the Van and can still carry four people and have ample room for those weekends away as well as being very cool indeed. Once a common site but now these fantastic cars are very rare. Our matching numbers example is a well preserved early and now rare 73 model with all of its correct features including the twin bolt front subframe. It offers a super slice of the seventies and is presented in very useable ready to use condition and benefitting from a refurbishment 5 years ago with invoices, which has given this fantastic Mini many more happy years of motoring ahead. It has only covered 59k and does have some history. Finished in the very period shade of Bronze Yellow with that very cool wood grain effect trim.
On the road this Clubman Estate drives very well. The original 998 engine is smooth with good power delivery and the gearbox is precise. It has benefitted from recent and sensible upgrades such as a stage one kit and a Maniflow exhaust that gives it a little more power and Cooper S disc brakes wit a servo. The handling is fantastic as it should be and it stops very well indeed. You will need to prepare yourself for all of the attention you will get when you are out driving this Mini as everyone wants to talk about and take pictures.
This Clubman has very well preserved interior with its original Navy blue seats and door cards. This early example has the push button screen washers and the correct ignition cowl not to mention the original steering wheel. It does also have a useful 12 volt socket.
This Estate has a very solid shell and still has its original front wings and front panel, the floor pans are also body coloured as is the boot floor. The paintwork and chrome present very well and as you can see form the pics this is a good looking Mini that belies its near 50 year vintage. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed and could also sit proudly on display at any show and it is also very unlikely you will see another. The Clubman is fully serviced and checked and it has a long MOT. It is also MOT and Tax exempt.
